Machir Bay, named after Islay’s most spectacular beach, is a vatting of Kilchoman matured in both bourbon and sherry casks. The high proportion of bourbon barrels creates a unique balance of aromatic peat smoke, citrus sweetness and tropical fruit. Coastal peat smoke gives way to tropical fruit, fresh vanilla and butterscotch with herbaceous undertones and waves of stoned fruits and citrus sweetness.
